Whew! It’s been a busy week! We’ve put in many of our spare hours working on the house, and so it’s been a challenge to find the time to post photos.
Saturday started with a lot of miscellany. Now that the rain has let up, the mowing has begun. Le sigh.

At least we have five mow-capable individuals now. That helps break up the mownotony! Har, har.
Cleaning, cleaning, cleaning. Construction, especially involving bare dirt crawlspace, is so incredibly messy.

Kids helped vacuum, sort trash, sort tools and hardware, sweep, mow, vacuum…the shop-vac ran almost all day.

The guys started by bracing the joists, an important step for side-to-side stability before putting the subfloor down.

Unfortunately, the table saw went down in the afternoon, so Matt took over cutting pieces (mostly shims by that point, thankfully) on the miter saw.

Meanwhile, Esther worked on running new electrical.

Almost there…

And we have a floor!
