A weekday evening we headed over and worked for a few hours. Beside the obligatory, now-frequent-and-boring mowing, Esther broke out the sawzall again for a few minutes and worked on removing the old ductwork on the north and south walls.

Matt started drilling holes for electrical around the base of the room.

Esther started threading the cable through those holes. The ends of the electrical wires will wait, coiled, inside the boxes until the finishing stage of the work, after drywall.

And a couple tulips bloomed from our bulbs we planted last year! That was neat. This was the first time we’d planted perennial flowers…hoping to someday plant lots more of them.
